Oushak rugs originated in the small town of Oushak in west-central Anatolia, today just south of Istanbul, Turkey. Unlike most Turkish rugs, Oushak carpets had been greatly influenced by Persian designs. Almost from the beginning of the Ottoman empire, Oushak has been a major production center of Turkish rugs.

The universally recognized Oushak rugs have a star and medallion pattern. The anatomy of an Oushak typically consists of a distinctive design, usually containing a central medallion or the famous "star" pattern. The medallions often are inspired by designs used in Ottoman manuscripts or vice versa.

Patina recommends Monogram Logistics for local furniture delivery.

Their white-glove delivery includes bringing all items into your room of choice, unpacking, and removing packing material. Delivery may incur an additional fee for more than one flight of stairs, heavy items and the removal or moving of your own furniture.

The delivery crew will call you when they are on their way, approximately 1/2 hour prior to arriving.

Customer Self Pick-Up

If you choose to pick-up your purchase, please be sure to bring enough manpower to move your items into your vehicle. Remember to bring sufficient blankets/bubble wrap/rope if necessary. Patina is not responsible for any damage incurred with your move. We request that all purchases be picked up within 1 week from date of purchase.
